The City Meet!!

The Rocket Cross Country team really ended the season with a bang! 

The Ladies are the 2015 City Champions beating all 8 local teams by more than 36 points. The girls were lead by Kendall Jones taking 2nd place! She was quickly followed by Bella Borgeson, Liv Depies, Clare Watson, Emma Dykema and Allie Moore. All were in the top 20 finishers. 

The Guys ran away with 2nd place out of the 8 tough teams!! Leading the Rockets was Brett Schlaff taking 5th place. He was followed closely by Conner Hilliker, Dylan Stawski, Brady Wheeler, and Dylan Cox.

We will start the next cross country season this summer with running club starting the end of June. Check the school's web page for more info on joining the 2016 team!

• PARKING – High School Teams / Junior High Teams / Jayhawk 5k participants / Spectators may drop off at the entrance of University Park Golf Course but please park in one of the Muskegon Community College parking lots.

Held at Rockford East Middle School - 8615 9 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341

Runners will be let out of class at 2:25 to get dressed and get on the bus, we need to leave by 2:40.

Should return RPMS around 6:30/45pm. 

Try and run the first mile 10-15 seconds faster than normal and see how it feels. You have been training hard and may surprise yourself with what your body is capable of! Good luck!!💚💚💚
